The first time I heard the name Barry Frieler was when I asked a friend of mine who is a truss designer to recommend a good contractor. He described Barry as ‘very meticulous,’ and he was not wrong! And when I asked Barry if they built to code, he said, “No, we build three levels above code.” Another truth. Dennis Blosberg is NCCB’s numbers guy. He put our contract together with a very keen eye. Nothing was missed. And he explained everything in very easy-to-understand, layman’s English. As my wife and I later learned , after NCCB built our dream house, there are many ways a builder can bamboozle a potential customer just to get the contract, only to paint them into a corner later on that only more money can get them out of. NCCB does NOT do that. Everything was well explained and understood before they did it. From shingles to shelving, these guys have you covered!

It’s hard to imagine it has been ten years since we were working with Barry and North Country Custom Builders to build our lake home. We often think how lucky we were to have Barry as our builder.
