Barry Frieler's construction journey commenced at the age of twelve when he immersed himself in the world of building alongside his grandfather and uncle in the town of Lake Henry, Minnesota. From roofing to demolition and everything in between, Barry embraced each task, acquiring a diverse skill set. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for his future as a professional contractor.
In 2001, driven by an unwavering commitment to superior craftsmanship, Barry took a bold step and founded North Country Custom Builders. Dissatisfied with prevailing standards, he sought to elevate the industry by delivering exceptional workmanship and unparalleled quality. Since then, he has passionately brought his skills and expertise to life, crafting extraordinary homes that exceed expectations.
When Barry is not immersed in the art of construction, he spends time on his hobbies. As a dedicated fly-fisher and avid grouse hunter, he embraces the tranquility of the great outdoors. It was in the town of Nisswa that Barry discovered a profound sense of belonging, a place that truly resonated with his soul and inspired him to create architectural marvels that harmonize with the natural beauty of the region.

Dennis's extensive background includes a breadth of expertise in the construction industry, ranging from hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work to managing financial and logistical aspects for large-scale commercial projects and nationally recognized, award-winning Minnesota homes. His profound knowledge of cost planning and management enables him to provide clients with informed construction options, ensuring the utmost value in their investments.
Dennis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Minnesota Mankato, specializing in Construction Management, accompanied by a minor in Economics/Finance. He has also completed engineering coursework at St. Cloud State University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, further augmenting his technical awareness. He has obtained the esteemed American Society of Healthcare Engineers Healthcare Construction Certification and carries the distinguished Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager Credential.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dennis derives immense pleasure from indulging in outdoor pursuits. He relishes the excitement of bird hunting, a challenging round of golf, and fishing. Dennis nurtures an adventurous spirit, eagerly exploring the captivating landscapes of Utah's high desert.Dennis's vast array of experiences, educational achievements, and dedication render him an invaluable asset in the construction realm.
